Fans of soccer and Charlotte sports now know the name of the next professional team in the Queen City.
Carolina Ascent FC will be the name for the women’s professional soccer team in Charlotte in the USL Super League. The team announced its name, logo, and brand identity on Thursday after tentatively being named Super League Carolina ever since the team was announced last year.
