Oh my. So conflicted here. Okay, first Craig Burley doesn't realize how crushing this is to Mexico. U.S. vs Mexico is just like Rangers vs. Celtic. At least to Mexico it is. I don't want Berhalter as a coach but this was a big win for him personally. But in spite of that, I'm not cool with Craig Burley. He obviously loves chipping away at the U.S. I'm still a Scotland fan. Don't know if Burley would make the squad if he could time-portal a tryout. And he got sloppy when he decided to teach Keller about goalkeeping. Other than that, go U.S. and go Scotland.
I agree that this was a show-me moment for Geo to show the American football gods, USMNT fans, how dirty of a player you can be, how tough you are, how tough your mental resilience is, and how you have matured as a young man to earn our trust to play with the USMNT!
What? Berhalter wasnât under any pressure. He can be 10 times as bad as he already is and the USSF still wonât fire him. Also, he couldnât motivate a dog at a meat market. The players win in spite of him. Iâm embarrassed as an American that he is our coach.

I really liked Reyna playing deeper. Allowed him to be more involved and also let him be a little more free. When he's so far up the field, it feels like he's stuck for us. A lot of the times we can't get him the ball in a good position. I hope we keep trying to play him deep like we did against mexico and see how it works out. For me, as of right now his best strength is his vision, and that let use maximize his use of it.

The two goals were good, but this game further exposes how bad the front 3rd remains. Pulisic can't hit the side of a barn. No creativity; no chemistry. This team would get destroyed against a mid-tier European team.

Craig is so pessimistic. You think the Nations League doesnât mean much to these players? I get the sense he was never truly competitive ever in his life because any true athlete knows when youâre playing a competitive match youâre putting everything on the line and you can only play whoâs in front of you in sports you donât get the luxury of choosing your opponents. Stfu not only was it a USA MEXICO rivalry match but itâs a final of a competitive tournament and it may not mean anything to you but I guarantee it meant as much as any final to all 22 players + subs who played that match.

Berhalter is a horrible Coach. He has no business being their coach. That is the US Soccer organization making that terrible decision. They are determined to keep the US team as the 2nd tier. The US has some good players but there is a constant level of mediocrity and never consistency. The US is not in the same league as half of Europe as well as Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. As long as the US is in the CONCACAF, they will never progress. Mexico was the only team that was quality. The rest of CONCACAF is a joke. CONCACAF & CONMEBOL need to merge. It would benefit both. I had to laugh when the reporter asked Berhalter how difficult it is to threepeat. It isn't, especially when you have zero competition.
Please can we just put Jesse Marsch or BJ Callahan in charge, because if they're at the Helm, we can beat teams like England and Germany Craig, the most Talented teams don't always Win you should know that.

The US have a better pool of players in Europe and have a higher ceiling than our young players.
