  1. Completely agree for once.

It's so frustrating that the player is deciding when he will go and when he will stay and play. Go if you want to go. We bought Bayindir for this reason, to have competition but also support for when players are out. Onana wants to play both because he knows Bayindir is a beast of a GK and Onana doesn't want to lose his place on an off chance of representing his country, if he is even selected.

  2. What utter nonsense, the AFCON / CAF should not allow this that players get to pick and choose when. It's disrespectful to all African football lovers, . There is no European born player that is ever in this situation, we can understand missing friendlies but an actual competition representing your national team to play in a league match is madness. In every sport int he world we are told how incredibly proud players are to represent their national teams. Onana should be ashamed of himself.

  3. But if the player was a European player like playing for Germany or England for instance the club will not do that because it is a European nation but it is an African country there must be solutions…..player must represent his country and there must be respect to African competitions

  4. The thing is song result is at the best mediocre. He has been in tremendous pressure to give result and he didn’t want to be blamed if Cameron was to miss the afcon and they almost Missed to qualify for the afcon that’s why they called Onana back
