  1. Love the title "Liverpool hold off Newcastle". Yeah we really scraped that result. The highest xG in PL history. 34 shots on goal. Dubrvaka had an immense game and stopped the game being a total massacre.

  2. Craig is bang on the money in comparing LIV to Arsenal subs, they can bring on actual game changers to win a game, apart from Trossard (who has lost his mojo from late last season), no Arsenal fan rubs his hands in anticipation when Nketiah & Nelson warm up.
Our subs are levels beneath the 1st teamers that Arteta seems reluctant to even bring them on, hence knackering by overplaying our A team players.
Just LIV's attacking array is full of speed and are terriers in their movement and harassing defenders.

  3. Very stupid and meticulous to compare saka to salah, salah is the best right winger in the world right now, Saka still young and good but he still learning infront of him long miles to be as good as salah 🤫🤦‍♂

  4. Nunez makes space and goals for the others. Nunez running running at full speed along their laste man is pretty terryfying. All hail Klopp for his rebuild of the midfield. From an Arsenal fan.

  5. Also L'pool play with a new small-sized L20m player in MF, gave up Caicedo (~L100), compared with Ars who got D Rice (~L100m) and MC playing with one of the proven world's Best Defensive MF in Rodri

  6. Nunez's Xg+Xa is in the 97th percentile of strikers in Europe. Haaland is in the 98th Percentile. The difference of course is that Haaland converts his goals whilst Nunez doesn't. But point being, Nunez is 99% as good as Haaland in everything but his finishing. Obviously that's a problem. But you can TEACH finishing, you can't teach that sort of instinctive movement, positioning, etc. Nunez is still only 24, if he can just improve his finishing in the next couple of years, not to Haaland levels just to less shocking levels he'll be a monster. And although he's not as silky or clean and connective on the ball as Firmino was he puts up basically the same amount of Goals & Assists that Firmino did, and he creates a MUCH bigger threat and distraction to defenders than Firmino did.

  7. "Liverpool hold off Newcastle" You did actually watch the match I take it? Ok it's only goals that finish legally in the back of the net that counts but if this was a stats match Newcastle were hammered.
