  1. Yeah Pep give it up mate .Haalands no good, your teams in decline. The fact you are treble winners and were without 2 of the world's best midfielders in Rodri and Dr bruyne for this game is no excuse.ESPN knows better than you.😂😂😂Before anyone accuses me of bias im a United fan so the last thing i want is for City to keep winning. But honestly the first time in 6 years i believe that theyve lost 2 league games in a roe.Get real he's the best manager and City will still be the ones to beat.

  2. Haaland is too static in my opinion. He has to sometimes operate from the wings to drag defenders away.

He has to get to training and work his socks off to have another dimension to his predictable game

  3. First, nothings wrong with Haaland that some time out of the team wont fix. Agree Alvarez should have started up front this game. Pep is experimenting and seeing the process through. Like most, City are just getting started like in most years. They are too good across an entire season to not win the league again. The injuries will heal and service will resume. It’s fun to watch as a neutral.

  4. I dont know more than pep but as long as kdb or rodgri isnt playing Foden NEEDS to play behind the st no matter what
dont play alvarez there unless u using him as a striker
benardo rw and not holding mid like in this game and grelish or doku lw
.

  5. In order to feed a player like Haaland the midfield needs time on the ball. Arsenal gave absolutely no room or time to make for city's midfield to look up and pass .
Plus this business of Pep playing players out of position finally caught up .

  6. If you are gonna blame a player, blame Rodri for making a headless decision which got him a red card and 3 games suspended. City has lost only those 3 games he has been suspended and they have won everything else.. Who is then to blame for these losses? Haaland? LOL. It has absolutely nothing to do with Haaland. If anything, Haaland should be angry at his teammates for trying to sabotage for him. A striker should expect to get the ball a couple of times during a game. Against Arsenal he started his runs and even pointed where he wanted the ball around 20 times when his teammates had the ball. How many t8mes did they try to pass the ball forward to him? ZERO. He set up Ake and Alvarez who should have scored. Did he get anything in return? Of course not. In half of his games for City he has been ignored. That says how incredible his achoevements has been. He could have scored twice as many goals if he wasnt ignored half the time.

He he did a good link-up job during the whole game. But its not when he has his bqck towards the goal he is a lethal goal scorer. His teammates should be forced to traij with KDB to learn a thing or two. This is qlso on Pep, but in everyones eyes, Pep cant do no wrong. Lets blame a 23 year old for everything instead of focusing on the real issues with this team
Haaland is still the top scorer in the league btw. This is pathetic, disgusting, embarrassing
..

Stop making Haaland a scapegoat for everything. Peoples agenda is sick
.

  7. The problem is that if Haaland was a United player you would label him as a flop. Alvarez fits in more with City than Haaland. We all knew they would not win the league once their most important players got injured or left the club. It’s going to be an expensive rebuild

  8. Haaland is a pure striker. He cannot do magic like Messi and Haaland lacks individual brilliance. They should pair Haaland with Alvarez as Alvarez is more complete and has individual brilliance.

  9. Here we go again. Blaming Haaland . Whats wrong with people and why this scary obsession about a 23 year old kid who loves to play football. Stop using his name for your sick agenda!

If you are gonna blame a player, blame Rodri for making a headless decision which got him a red card and 3 games suspended. City has lost only those 3 he has been suspended and they have won everything else.. It has nothing to do with Haaland. If anything, Haaland should be angry at his teammates for trying to sabotage for him. How can it be Haalands fault that his teammates cant even make a simple pass to him forward? The last games the only thing Haaland has got to work with is being a link up player and he has done that perfectly, but now that KDB is injured not a single one of his teammates manage to set him up like last season, in positions where he is most lethal. Either he gets the ball behind him, too far im front of him or in tight spaces with 2 defenders clinched to him. Most times he never gets the ball at all!! The way they play, City ruins Haaland not the other way around and if you guys dont see it you are either blind or has no clue about football. Every game Haaland attracts 2-3 players so that everyone else gets room to score or shoot (like Alvarez gets). He doesnt have to do things with two defenders constantly on his back. What does Haaland get in return? Nothing! Not one single pass against Arsenal and its a returning theme. The players pass backwards and sideways instead of looking for the runs Haaland starts and at least try to pass the ball in the room behind the defenders.

Its pathetic how you bring Haalands name up everytime something doesnt work for City when he is the least one to blame!! Get a grip!! This makes me so angry. You should be ashamed of yourself.

    Disgusting
..

  10. Man City PL goals 5 seasons before Haaland. 99/83/102/95/106. Man City last season with Haaland – 94 goals. I'd say that Haaland gives Pep more attacking options upfront, but does he improve the team? Not necessarily.

  11. Pretty sad to see this as a discussion, Haaland had a more silent game with 0 shots but as far as performing his role in that City team he's probably the only one that did his job well and even created 2 chances. If Alvarez (Not surprised he was taken off) passed more this game and not just shoot everytime he had the slightest sight of goal maybe haaland would've had a chance himself. Overall the midfield created nothing for haaland, looked like they were quite happy settling for a draw at times

  12. Against the top teams Haaland is properly marked, the abuse Lukaku used to get from these pundits about not scoring against top teams it was never about service, it was about ability. Haaland is still young and he will learn how to play against top teams, he is easily the best number 9 on the planet and theres no doubt he will find a way.

  13. Even Mikel Arteta had more touches than Haaland. Seeing Haaland's performance, if you play him, you're clearly playing with 10 men now
Alvarez deserved to play full 90 minutes. Actually not "deserved", he was "crucial" to play full 90 mins. At least, we could've had few more chances

  14. how can anyone blame Haaland for the loss 😀 everyone knows, that without that midfield supply, the guy is just an "ornament"…… he's not G. Jesus, with dribbling skills and cleverness to create something out of nothing…… if the final pass in front of the goal doesn't come, then Haaland is just as useful, as a comb for a bald guy…… and in this particular game, the midfield of City was utterly dismantled(especially in 2nd half)

  15. The team and haaland. Team unable to supply good passes to haaland, defense wise is good but lack of intensity without rodri and de bruyne.. now haaland has been dependent on assist not a question, he must improved and imitate sesko, osimehn and ronaldo that score and create independently shots.
