  1. Save those tapes of ESPN pundits lauding Onana over DeGea. We'll see when the ball goes in the back of the net against United which goalie could have stop it.

  2. This is a big waste of money. Onana is great and one of my fav GK’s but that’s €50m! We could have spent that on a striker which we need. De Gea has done very well over the years and kept us up! If anything we should have swapped De Gea for Onana when we had De Gea under contract such bad business!

  3. There is a well reported budget of £115 million – reported by Kieran Maguire, Jacob, etc. Onana will be done at £45m and Mount was done at £55m (add ons of 5m including winning Prem and UCL which wont happen for a couple of years). so that is £15m left. The Glazers under FFP could add £90m out of their own pockets, but that hasn't EVER been done in 18 years, which shows why they are desp1sed. So this means the only way to get a Hojlund or Kolo Muani (at around £50-60m) – is to sell. Murtough thus far has proven he isn't very good at this, at all, and this is a skill in itself – buying is easier to do. My opinion is Paul Mitchell needs to come in ASAP. However, it's like bobbing for Apple's. Luckily we have 2 that will very likely be easy deals to do – Fred for 15m to Fulham and Henderson for 25m to Forest. The likes of Maguire, Bailly, Telles, Williams, Elanga, McTominay, Donny, Martial, etc – Murtough would very much struggle to do good sales business on. To surmise, we will likely JUST get Hojlund over the line because of those easier sales. Also, Glazer's need a JAYEFFKAY moment to align their boardroom decision.

  4. He also has much more of an aerial dominance that De Gea has lacked. De Gae is a fantastic shot stopper (world class), but his all round skills are definitely not as good as Onana.

  5. I felt De Gea needed to leave after the Sevilla game but the club have dealt with De Gea in very bad faith. A new deal was agreed upon and as his contract was winding up the club try to change the terms. Absolutely disgraceful!!
