  1. It will be funny if Mbappe leaves them in the summer of 2023 for a fee. But it will be funnier if he leaves them in the summer of 2024 for free. I will always hate psg fans for booing my favourite player Messi, I hope they do not even win Ligue 1 next year.

  2. It's just greed isn't it. He wants to pocket the humongous salary that he is offered now and plus if Madrid are able to sign the player on a free, the player and the agent can ask for a bigger signing on fee and commission.
Can't believe Madrid wants to fuel this kind of behavior. How is he going to act in the future with Madrid for contract extensions? We all know the CR7 saga.

  3. At this point. I’m really really worry for Mbappé’s well being. Nasser is well and capable of ending Mbappé’s career in a harmful way. Remember his on trial for kidnapping and torture. His a terrible terrible person inside. Trust me.

  4. That is the risk of offering extortionate wages to players. No other club is willing to pay Mbappe the wages he is on at PSG.
See what they did with Ugarte when they realised Chelsea Fc wanted him. Continue paying silly wages. Chelsea have learnt their lesson.
It is a shame PSG have not won Champions League yet after spending so much money.

  5. With all due respect, UK pundits, it's also within PSG rights to force Mbappe not to leave next year for free, but now. It is a bargaining position. So since Mbappe and the PSG President both are saying he will not leave for free, let them fight it out. It's all part of the deal making and negotiating. So, lessen your bias for Mbappe. Let them fight it out in negotiation, since you guys have nothing to do with what happens. And saying that PSG is in turmoil is once again, just an opinion. You all are just giving your opinion. It's worth 2 cents.

  6. The fact is when money gets too big, forget loyalty, forget respect, forget a person's word. Because when football continues to grow financially, it becomes more about money and less about the sport or respect, or loyalty

  7. PSG are run very poorly but let's be honest Mbappes ego is out of control, it would never happen but I'd love to see him benched for a year to bring him down to earth

  8. This segment highlights that how clueless these clowns are when it comes to football, especially Shaka, who by the way should be running a food cart and not commenting on football.

  9. What you guys don't mention about is the fact that he only want to stay 1 extra season because on 1st September PSG will activate a 80M€ loyalty bonus … In the eyes of everybody in France he is becoming greedy and just want to suck every single penny out of the club …

  10. LOL – once you get to this rarefied air the idea that the player "holds all the cards" is ludicrous. When you look at professional sport and in particular football, the NFL, baseball etc. you are talking about owners who are scarcely one step removed from organized crime. Many of them would think NOTHING of employing cold-blooded coercion to get what they want. If Kyllian Mbappe thinks he has the owners of Paris over a barrel he'd do well to disabuse himself of that notion very quickly.

Also, whether PSG choose to go down the route of abandoning their policy of buying the sports biggest stars or building more like a traditional club it really makes little difference. When you are "competing" in a league as poor as the French have you just aren't exposed to enough high-level competition to sharpen your game to the point where you are challenging teams from much tougher comps. At PSG players like Mbappe know they can win matches easily without playing at their absolute best. You do that in the EPL and you're in a relegation battle. How many times have PSG been blown off the park in big CL games now?

  11. By the way, Qatar agreed with Mbappe when he first signed that they would let him leave if he wanted and there was a suitable offer. That happened, and they went back on their word. Now the shoe's on the other foot – unlucky Qatar.
