We are most likely to finish 5th again. Other teams are strengthening and we are excited about 2 signings. Nothing much has changed. The defense and midfield is still suspect defensively.

They need one more flex defender, someone who wont get bullied on set pieces but has the pace to guard a wing. Their attack is sublime, it was letting goals in that did them in and losing control of the midfield at crucial moments because their spine is aged (Hendo, Millie, Thiago all injured or aging)
Very poor side of business for the club, just look at the net spending. They could have sold Firminho 1 year earlier for some money instead of letting him leave for free and I am sure Keita could also fetch some money even though he didn't quite live up to expectations of the Liverpool manager (considering his past performances for his previous club). On the business side, they really need to learn from the big clubs like Manchester United (under Fergie) who sold Ronaldo and Beckham (their star players back then). These players featured regularly for Man Utd and still fetched some value in transfer fees prior to playing for Real Madrid. Looking at the past, Liverpool did not manage the contracts well, let Steve McManaman and sold Michael Owen for a miserly fee of 8 million pounds. The only best business they did was selling Fernando Torres for 50 million pounds to Chelsea when his form was on the decline due to injuries but wasted 35 million pounds on Andy Carroll who didn't really live up to expectations like the former. Perhaps they need someone special to manage the business side of the club. While Salah is still in his prime years, maybe it might be a good idea to cash in and purchase a younger player who could play for many more years. Sadio Mane wasn't sold for much money when he transferred to Bayern Munich but at least they managed to recoup the bulk of the purchase price.

We have a very interesting group of players. Just worry about Henderson and Fabinho's legs.

15 goals in 42 games isn't a bust. Only if the second year isn't an improvement.
1) WRONG: there are 2 positions for the OTHER 4 attacking options. Put some RESPECT on The Egyptian King's name!
2) I think Liverpool are going to be very dangerous, if they sign a CB – I think they will along with another CM. I think that will be enough for them to beat City to the title this season – whether they get those players in this Summer or in Jan window. We'll see how serious Arsenal are after the first 5 games.

how can someone be bust after playing 1 season. it was an unfortunate circumstance that liverpool was not playing well when he arrived. Yeah his finishing was not that polished but if he fixes that and the whole team plays at the level when they were chasing the treble for sure ppl will change their tune. Praying for all liverpool players to stay healthy this season. YNWA! up the reds!
