  1. You can't blame the Americans. It was a mix of poor management, lack of passion from all the players and no clear leadership. It started to go wrong last season with Bielsa and all the injuries we incurred , Bamford never fully recovered from that.

  2. The spine of Leeds was literally championship players 😂😂😂 The only good one was Forshaw. You consistently start a goalkeeper and striker in bad form, you don’t replace the center backs or fullbacks, you don’t have any defensive midfielder except for Addams, and you don’t play the striker you signed in January. Oh, and all the players loaned out. But OK let’s blame the Americans. 👏 👏 👏

  3. Marsch left after 18 matches played with 18 points and a -8 GD.
Since then, another 18 matches and Leeds only acquired another 13 points, while their GD ballooned to -30.

  4. I’m an Everton fan and from my experience of American players, we’ve had a fantastic experience. Howard, Max Moore, McBride, Landon Donovan ….. at the very minimum they gave maximum effort. It’s not the American players that are at fault at Leeds, is the horrific defence and toothless attack and giving a manager like allardyce yet more pans of money. He’s took his last two teams down. He needs to stop getting jobs.

  5. Amwrican players in the premier League are completely pony. Looking at all the anerican players in the league they're decent in the ball and thats it. No end product nothing off the ball. If you took MLS best team they woukd end up like Leeds United

  6. It's not like leicester, leeds & southampton were the only teams that played worse, there were other teams which really played bad. Liverpool had a horrendous injury prone season, chelsea with all the high profile recruitment had a very poor season, if not for tuchel they'd have relegated. Bournemouth, wolves, Aston Villa all played badly & Forest looked like they were the punching bag of this season but they had some really high profile wins. Bournemouth, Aston Villa & wolves sacked their managers & bought managers which were pragmatic & not over the top. If any team which I thought got lucky were Everton & mind you they were really bad & were looking to go down if not for Sean Dyche.

  7. Objectively the Mckennie loan was a disaster, aaronson didnt prove his worth either, however they did Jesse dirty, and Adams injury was probably the reason they went down, they couldnt score much with him on the field, but when he got injured they conceded A LOT more, so not entirely on the yanks

  8. While it's not the American players fault it is still rare for a club to invest so much into an American manager and players. The fact it didn't work out means it's less likely clubs will be looking to sign the next Marsch or Aaronson as soon.
