  1. I think Marsch would be a great choice!!! He’s offensive minded, and his players seem to like him. Gregg was trash. Happy with draws. We need a winner! Jesse Marsch would be my top pick👍

  2. March should stay in Europe and continue learning and growing as an international coach. That benefits him and the USMNT system as well.

  3. …. IMHO… CPC/USSF/Stewart (when he was there) had literally rubber stamped GGG the second they got the Iran result. There wasn't going to be a process or interview and they didn't want to do it. They didn't even CONSIDER that there could be a far better candidate with the different experience of 2026. I can see Marsch as manager, it makes sense though IMHO it'd be better to get more of a successful track record. Like – Arena knew what it was like to succeed at least in the early MLS days. Ditto Bradley. Not sure here…

  4. Matt Crocker has the knowledge to perform well as the sporting director for US Soccer. Oguchialu Onyewu should also be hired as the General Manager. However, the MOST important decision for the USMNT to be successful at the 2026 FIFA World Cup is to NOT hire Jesse Marsch (or anyone connected to the Redbull system of football.) US soccer needs to hire someone with EXTENSIVE experience UEFA Champions League, not just the domestic league. They need to have THRIVED in that tournament. Performing well as HOST of the tournament is important to the future of the game in the nation. The problem is that I highly DOUBT that they will take this GLOBAL tournament SERIOUSLY, and probably will not invest in that CALIBER of coach. They probably do not have the financial ability to do so as well.

  5. Is there nobody else that would take the job? He’s an epic fail in both the Bundesliga and Premier leagues. Plus he’s kind of a comical figure. I figured he’d be doing motivational speeches for small companies or selling things door to door by now. I’d go for anyone else. Tim Howard has no experience and absolutely no charisma whatsoever but at least he’s a guy who played at the highest level and isn’t seen as a joke. There’s a few of those around. America has produced a few players, not many but there’s are a few
