on Franks point, the issue is as soon one player loses his passion or soul of the game it becomes contagious and it spreads to other players on the pitch too, if you're surrounded by negativity and see your team mates not giving their best on the field you also lose inspiration to try and give it all cause theres no point to do so when your mates wont follow you

Chelsea is not the only squad in this predicament. Modern football today has the inmates running the asylum. You need managers that come in to place clarifying that "I" (the manager) make ALL the calls. If you don't like that, find someone else! Subsequently, you go into the dressing room and clarify your goals, intent, and how it WILL BE, or take a hike (regardless of your salary). Sadly, you can't do that today.
