  1. Ah hah pay back!!!!!! 5:09min To 5:13min Girl needs a butt hurt report ASAP!!!! Flipping the players off what a cheap shot!!! you get what you deserve a celebration in the best style ever!!!!! In ya face!!!!!!!!

  2. There are obviously a number of better leagues in the world in terms of quality, but for overall entertainment value, I'm hard pressed to think of a more fun league than MLS.

Yes, I would prefer that they implemented pro/rel. Contrary to naysayers opinion, there is both demand and infrastructure to support it. However, I can make a convincing argument that MLS is more compelling than the big European leagues.

Obviously, the salary cap creates parity. Repeat champions are rare. Furthermore, the league race is worth watching all season, in the case of nearly every fixture. In England, the top 4 (CL qualifiers) are often decided long before the season is over. Likewise, relegation battles frequently involve only 2-3 teams. That leaves 3/4 of the league with little, or anything to play for.

Other egregious examples: the German Bundesliga. If you're not Bayern, you're a footnote. Snooze. Likewise, Scotland… (Disclaimer: I'm a rabid Celtic fan). When was the last time a team NOT named Celtic or Rangers won the SPL?

If you absolutely must watch the most expensive, highest profile leagues in the world (which is valid – I get it), by all means focus your gaze on England and Spain. If you prefer unpredictable drama in football and sport in general, I cannot recommend MLS highly enough.

  3. very offensive game by both teams. Austin has taken 2 Traverse and is convincing with a very offensive play. Driussi along with Mukthar (third and Arango and Gazdag) are the best players currently in the MLS. But Austin has a very big problem which is their bad defense (look at the second goal of the POR where there were 3 free players in front of the goal). Portland can become a very dangerous team in the playoffs, although I don't think POR will win the title

  4. These damn refs always against Austin man. Gives Pereira a yellow on a 50/50 ball. Gives Maxi a yellow for wanting the ref to make a call and the ref gets his feelings hurt and gives a yellow. Its ridiculous every home game.
