SPAIN BLOWS OUT COSTA RICA, 7-0 😳 FULL REACTION | ESPN FC

The ESPN FC crew reacts to Spain’s 7-0 win over Costa Rica, who they held without a shot. The only other time that a team was held without a shot in a FIFA World Cup match since 1966 was… Costa Rica in 1990 vs Brazil.

  1. When Spain beat Costa Rica 7-0,
Almost the whole world and football experts said : "This is it ! Spain is DEFINITELY going to win the World Cup !

And now England too are acting the same !

  2. Where are the people calling them to win the World Cup? 😂😂😂 overrated team with no striker. Imagine giving a garbage Spain side more chance of winning the WC than the likes of Argentina, Portugal or Netherlands. Joke experts.

  3. Can Spain beat Germany? LOL…Spain (along with Italy, France and England) is a team that historically has always given Germany problems. Throughout their history, both teams have played each other a total of 25 times. The results of the these matches are 9 wins for Germany, 8 wins for Spain, and 8 draws. They couldn't be closer in record. Recently though, things have been going Spain's way as, in the last seven games going back to 2003, Spain has won four, drawn two, and lost only one game to Germany. I think Germany definitely has the players to beat Spain but I don't think that they match up well against them.

  4. I understand that Craig Burley is very anti CONCACAF, so he doesn’t necessarily care about the football on this side of the world. With that said, the age is showing with costa rica, and it’s not that they’re necessarily bad, because they’re not, but Spain is just that many levels above them right now, and above many other teams competing in the World Cup.

  5. Am Spanish and I don´t understand how my country is so underestimated. Remember that Spain has won two continental cups and a World Cup in a row, something that no team has achieved. That it is a young team, it is, that it has talent for the future, too, that it may not be able to reach the quarterfinals or semifinals in this championship, probably, but that it is a "great team" is undeniable, also that it is made up of Spaniards with a great projection. But beware of surprises, Spain was also underestimated in 2010 and won the tournament in South Africa. Anything is possible as long as it play well and the team doesn't give in.

  6. Costa Rica played as they played on the first round of the world cup qualifiers, and then they got better…. but today showed that sense of not being able to produce one pass that they had the first time I saw them in the first round of qualifiers … the second round they won to everyone but anyway… what mess of a team hahaha

  7. How could this guy get such a performance out of a team of basically bench warmers . Soler , morata, asensio , Torres, Alba, Sarabia , Laporte, azpi even gavi all are bench warmers in their teams and with such a low point in Spanish football talent he delivers top 4 in 3 consecutive Uefa tournaments and now starts well in wc. He is one heck of a coach
