  1. I think the Crew deserved that first goal that was not called offside because earlier in the season they scored a goal that was clearly not offside to beat Philidelphia potentially, but the ref called it offside which took points away from the Crew so I think it just balanced out here.

  2. How in the world was there 6 minutes of stoppage time in a half where there were:

    1. There was one yellow card given
    2. No major injuries
    3. Obviously no long VAR delay

It should have been 4 minutes, tops.

  3. AR missed the offside. Then VAR ref in Atlanta was either asleep or in the can…..absolutely ridiculous.
6 minutes extra time at end of the game…why? Shouldn’t have been more than 4.
It was a great game but very disappointed in those key moments….MLS and the refs failed FC

  4. This VAR ref has done this before. Look up May 2019 Fire v D.C. United. Gamble was criticized by head referee stating a goal from an offside position should have been reviewed but wasn’t. Goal stood. Hard to see how they can call themselves “professionals.”

  5. As a Crew fan, lots to say here…
    1. F Cincy
    2. our 1st goal was offsides, and I dunno how the refs or VAR missed that. It was too obvious.
    3. Anything to avoid losing to Cincy and keeping them 0 for MLS against us is fine with me. I don't like Cincy in any sport, and it's just as prevalent in soccer now as much as MLB or NFL.
    4. Cincy still sucks
    5. MLS needs to wake up and adapt better VAR technology and procedures to get calls correct as much as possible…not whatever happened in this game

  6. Cincinnati was robbed, there is no way in hell (no pun intended) that Columbus' first goal was not offside. It's a shame that as an MLS fan, we have to go to games wondering not which team will win, but how the referee will influence the result. PRO has to be the most ironic name for our league's sorry referees, as there's nothing close to professional about them.
