Nothing. Salah and Mane should not have started. Mane is absolute and utter rubbish for 2 full seasons now .Salah form drop soooo much after February, that he shoud have been on the bench .This two single handedly cost Liverpool the title. They have one very big game to play in last 2 seasons ,and they failed miserably. All others first 11 have done their job brilliantly. This two cost Liverpool dearly
Maybe Fermino should of started instead of Diaz because madrid dropped so deep
Even a 200% fit Thiago would not have helped Liverpool. Real have done it even against Man city with everyone fit.
Difference between class of Klopp and Pep was seen here. Pep accepted defeat after loosing to Real Madrid in injury time and he praised Liverpool for taking the league to the last match when he won epl 4 in 5 years while Klopp blames wind, Defenders and Goalkeeper for doing his job.
In 2020, they were so cocky about Athletico Madrid for celebrating there victory (they are still waiting for 3rd leg).
Get a better striker
Jota should have started!
Same story as in 2018 final and last season in the QF. Liverpool simply have no answer for Toni Kroos and Luka Modric! When you factor in Casemiro's defensive ability and physicality then Liverpool were never going to get much joy with their pressing strategy.
Stop being cocky before the match with overconfident comments. Be humble and focus. Thats all. Less pressure on themselves
Liverpool could have scored a goal, and Trent Alexander Arnold could have played better defense. Pretty easy.
TAA as a Left attacking mid and sign a Decent established RB . Pl or CL guaranteed next season
Englishmen are still not accepting the lose ?
Play a different team ?. Because Madrid beats them 10/10 times. Real Madrid owns Liverpool!
I think Liverpool should've used Salah as a super sub. For some reason he thought the game was just about him and he was trying too much to create the headlines.
Not to offend anyone, but as a Madrid fan Liverpool gave us the least trouble than any of PSG, Chelsea or City.
They needed a player to make assists from the centre of the park or a good central striker
Origi would have been interesting
Liverpool did what they were supposed to do and didn’t score a goal. Madrid did what they know how to do and score a goal to win. Deserved or not deserved, you win finals whichever way you can. If playing beautifully won you the final, great. But you have to win it regardless. Liverpool played like Liverpool and Madrid won Hala Madrid. That’s how they know to win.
bring on OX chamberlain
Liverpool forwards just had to be more clinical. Some fine saves by the Madrid keeper stopped this thought but a few shots on goal could have ended up in. Well deserved man of the match.
Score a goal SIMPLES
Win the match
?️ Reporter: You were threatening Real all this time but lost the final to them again ?
?️ Salah: I swear to God I meant Real Betis !!
Liverpool just had too many intense games since the league cup final. The injuries and tried legs just made beating Madrid more diffulct bc I thought Liverpool played well it was just at a slower pace than normal even Henderson was walking around the pitch in passion
Great day for Liverpool to have a parade …..
English teams will forever be behind Spanish teams when its comes to winning European competitions
Asked Trent to focus more on defending. Asked Salah to not take so many 30 yard shorts straight at 5 foot 5 in Courtois' hands. Asked Thiago to take the game forward instead of making the 5-10 yard neat sideways passes because he has that ability.
Not play Real Madrid.
They could have tryed mane – firmino- salah… because in winger position mane is to good and he can easy treble past the backs ! And firmino would have showed us magic
