  1. Benzema goal is legal. There is intention to play from Fabinho. Juls explained very well. But also, Konate blocks the ball first(intention to play – block the ball) so the ball comes from Konate to Fabinho and then to Benzema.
Don’t understand why no-one in ESPN FC Extra time has discussed this or want to discuss this… except Robbo who mentioned it and gets shut down. Bad journalism driven by biased Liverpool commentator.
Stats don’t show Real could have scored 4 goals and Real four clear chances were clear clinical goal opportunities (Bezema goal, Vinicius goal, Casemiro missed alone in front of Anderson, and Ceballo’s terrible play).

  2. Madrid an average team ? yo the way the brits are trying make the epl teams seem like super teams compared to Madrid is crazy. Madrid has the best midfielders, the best striker, one of the best keepers and one of the best up and coming youngster, Madrid is not an average team

  3. I think Rob called it, Stevie is Liverpool biased, he mentioned that the back 4 played well all game and never mentioned the mistake from Virgil and TAA's lack of awareness until someone did, it feels like he does not want to acknowledge that even the team he loves can be bettered in some areas.

  4. For Liverpool fans, me included, this will forever be ''the season we came close'', a season that could have been legendary. Hopefully we win the EPL and UCL next year.

  5. How Steve Nicols is a pundit is beyond me. Amazes me. That he's played football but yet has no idea about football. Madrid didn't play through the pressure??? Did you watch the goal you blind muppet?

  6. The fact that Steve Nicol termed Valverde’s assist as “A goal attempt that went wide and reached Vini” shows how biased he is. They could not handle his speed, fell back, and Valverde managed get the ball past 3 defenders to his left all the way Vini on the far left. Golden assist!

  7. Steve is totally delusional! Back 4 controlled the game? Dude these Liverpool supporters are so nuts how they can’t deal with the fact they aren’t the best team in the world. I’m loving every moment watching Liverpool pundits and fans who can’t cope with the truth… Liverpool didn’t deserve to win. Madrid deserved it and the score line says it… that’s football! I knew they were going to win when they beat PSG. You could see their hunger and mentality. I’m a Barca fan saying that Madrid deserved this let that sink in!

Liverpool is overrated due to the English press! Since Ronaldo and Messi left laliga they completely started disrespecting all other leagues. These pundits are complete and utter fools for how they speak about things! We all want dominant football sure but it’s not about the style of play… it’s the grit to get the results and they’ve been doing it since Nov 2021 just grinding out results in laliga all the time! Madrid deserved this and I love seeing English pundits implode!

  8. one thing i know through experience, when playing a very big game, it's possible to play the game ( in your mind ) before you get to the stadium and the stress wipes you out, this is a possibility with a couple of the Liverpool lads, two or three of them looked jaded.

  9. Madrid were so awful they lost to barca 4-0 who couldn't even even win europa. Meanwhile madrid beats the top premier league teams. What does that say about epl ? hmmm

  10. Carvajal has been one of the most consistent RB in the past decade. He may not be flashy or has stats to back him up, but he always get the job done.
And that is why people dont rate him highly bcoz everything general fans see is stats.

  11. No, Liverpool thought they were playing Villarreal and was hoping for a comeback. Steve come next season, if Liverpool makes it to the finals, we’ll still beat ya team and you’ll keep being salty.

Madrid was lucky against psg, Chelsea, man city and Liverpool. This stevie of a man really doesn’t know anything about football. The champion of France, former European champion and the current 3rd position in the premier league, the current champion of premier league and the runner up were all eliminated by Madrid and this man is still salty ???

  12. This is great for the competitiveness of European leagues, hope it continues on even with the recent emergence of the Premier League

  13. THE "TOP CLASS MANAGEMENT, or shall we say THE LACK OF TOP CLASS MANAGEMENT of KLOPP" was definitely shown in this final. 1. NO TRUE CENTRE FORWARD TYPE STRIKER, 2. a "ONE-WAY" RIGHT FULLBACK – NOT THERE WHEN DEFENDING is his primary duty. 3. NABY KEITA is "WAY OUT of his CLASS in a natch of this magnitude. RESULT: KLOPP WAS EXPOSED TODAY. ALSO, it is my belief that he is not truly honest with his players.

  14. Blah blah blah, possession was 50% 50%, shots were 9-2, should have been 2-0, and you couldn’t even win with help from the ref. Take the loss with some dignity. You sound like sour losers.

  15. They’re acting like first 30 minutes was the entirety of the game :/ what domination happened in the 2nd half? RMD was boxing Liverpool into their own half too just look at the possession stats.
