  1. Pgmol is right.

It is not about intent or point of contact – –
It is about referees cheating and who you are.
Let's be honest if you are Pogba or Xhaka it doesn't have to be as half as bad and they get a red card.

  2. Giving England's favorite darling and captain a red card? are you insane? the same rules doesn't apply to him as it does to foreign players! Even if they are British, Robertson isn't English enough to get the same protection. Harry Kane did catch the ball… WITH HIS ARM! that's what he felt. I thought the inclusion of VAR would fix human mistakes like this and they have, for the most part, but this was a grievus offense but everyone involved. And guess who will be in the VAR room for Liverpool's 2 next matches? Thats right, Paul Tierney! there is no way VAR will give Liverpool anything so I hope the ref on the pitch will do his job and not have the likes of Paul Tierney calling the shots ever again.

  3. Harry Kane is not a clean player. How many times has he backed into a jumping defender, and yet gaining a foul? In any other sport taking out a player, who's jumping for a ball, It's a very serious incident. I think Kane was called out on that manoeuvre and doesn't do it as often. There's also evidence of Kane challenging with elbows up and now this.

English referee's need to get real.

As for VAR. The referee's manning the VAR are part of the current referee pool. Rather than use current referee's, why not use the referee's who have retired, keep them as separate bodies, so there should be no conflict of interest in challenging a member of your peer group.

  4. Clear red rard. Can only assume the 26% who don't agree are Spurs fans, football referee's, Kane's family and friends or know nothing about football. I've seen players get sent off for much less.

  5. Get over it, it is done and dusted now. There are other challenges that have gone punished. If I am mistaken I believe Robertson challenged some one two footed that went un punished completely.

  6. What kind of backwards retarded logic is that he doesnt get a red card just because Robbo evaded the tackle at the last possible second to not get his leg broken. It doesnt excuse that Kane was super agressive, reckless and potentially dangerous. As Ali said he still got caught on his leg even THOUGH he jumped.

  7. Jota earned a penalty 100% so thats 99% a goal for LFC and the win for LFC. Secondly it is easily arguable that Kane deserved a red card, so for most of the game LFC would be 11v10 and giving a huge advantage for LFC. So if anything LFC got robbed instead of a ''fair result''. And yes, I do realize Robbo got a red as well, not disputing that.

  8. Remember his crazy backing into jumping defenders move that was obviously dangerous but got him a free kick. Benefit of the doubt but clearly a bad move how he practiced it cause he kept getting away with it cause the refs seemed afraid to call it out until they had to stop it from clear video evidence.

  9. Klopp is correct and it needs seriously looking into before this blows up in the FA's face. Tierney's got a personal problem with Liverpool or Klopp.
Most of their cards have come from him. Check the stats.

  10. All the Liverpool fans crying about Kane not getting sent off… Tyler Morton should have seen a straight red against Leicester tonight, but got away with a yellow. Much worse than Kane’s challenge. Haven’t heard a word from Klopp? ? and Sky haven’t uploaded a dozen videos about it like they did with Kane? Interesting.
