I think ESPN has nothing to discuss… how is even up for debate?
This about their guy Rams but towards the end of last season n beginning of the current one Rams was a shadow of himself. Same people have never argued why He doesn't start for England!!!
If you want to buildup from the back you need a goalkeeper who is good with his feet.
Can these guys dead this matter already?
THE NARRATIVE
Rams dale had to play with a weird back line đ
2 things Shaka, Craig and Casey have missed 1. A team keeps the ball out of their goal most effectively by having 70% plus of possession and if your GK helps you have that much possession then he is helping to keep the ball out. Being a shot stopper is not the only way a GK stops goals going in. 2. Arteta wanted Arsenal to bait City in to pressing high to create space behind that press. Arteta seems to feel Raya is better than Ramsdale (who has been good over 2 years and unlucky to lose his spot) at ignoring commentatorsÂŽ AND the home crowdÂŽs demands to boot it up the field and so he prefers Raya. Raya is not nervous as Gary Neville insists, he is following instructions. Yes, he screwed up the execution of the instrcutions a couple of times but Arteta is being a good manager by not going punishing Raya for following instructions.
These guys had nothing to talk about or they are waiting to say we told you so when he has a bad game…Poor from this team.
But why would the priority remain ''keeping the ball out of the net'' when you have 90% possession in the opposition half? and there is no ball to be kept out? The priority has to change at that point to how much he can contribute with his feet. The English/British media have an agenda against Raya.
This a confusion for the media not arsenal dressing room đ
None of the people talking have become good managers or coaches, Arteta knows what he's doing.
Ramsdale did make mistakes idk how they can say he didnât Shaka acts like ramsdale is Neuer in his prime
Strange to have a 20 minute video on this. 4 cleansheets in 6 games isn't something to be concerned about. As long as they're winning, this shouldn't be an issue. It's clear that Arteta trusts him to do what he wants more than Ramsdale. It is what it is
The interview. Its the interview Ramsdale did…that's why he's been dropped
If Onana had the ball blocked the same way, he would've been crucified. That being said, from an outside perspective, Raya is a step above Ramsdale and Arteta spent the money because he feels that way
These pundits should just shut the f⊠up. Raya is a better keeper than Ramsdale. Itâs as simple as that.
You lot are just thirsty at this pointđ trying to make news where thereâs none
2015 @Shaka itâs not 20 years ok?
Stop talking about this goalieâs at Arsenal all the time. Arteta has chosen Raya for now and you need to accept it and move on!!!
Raya the way he managed the 2nd half against Man City proves why he is number 1, the defence is calmer and stable with him and the clean sheets speak for itself, and lastly Arteta knows better than all these muppets and again he will prove all of them wrong
Such poor punditry
Ramsdale came in through the same door. He was supposed to deputies Leno, but took over from Leno in no time. Iâm sure he loved that. And no noise from the press. The coach can decide, just like he did with Leno for Ramsdale, and now Raya for Ramsdale. The game is the game. Arteta is not Ramsdaleâs uncle
People should remember that Ramsdale was brought by Arteta when no one thought there was any need of replacing.
Itâs not Kai Havertz? Bloke literally won us the game at the weekend. Craigs hate against him is unwarranted.
6:18 this here is a sneak peek into why they are making these videos, and also what they talk about behind the scenes. They thought Raya is being favored because he knows the Arsenal GK coach, and also because he is Spanish. They are trying to defend Ramsdale, the England GK, and put pressure on Arteta. You can just see it. Expect more videos guys đ
These guys just look stupid, Raya is a better keeper according to almost any statistics.
Can international break end plsssssasssss đ
The only person "Uncertain" about anything is ESPN. Everybody else is clear on this non-issue
Get a life
Pretty sure these guys are the only ones still confused by this. Raya is number one because he is more comfortable doing what Arteta asks, which is, taking risks on the ball and becoming like a 3rd center back. Find something more interesting to talk about.
How many segments have they had on this. Brighton do the same and no mention. Its boring now. Move on espn.
Shaka seems like the hindrance that smart out-of-the-box thinkers usually have to deal with. SMH! Goalkeeping has moved on from these dinosaurs idea of goalkeeping.
Who said Rambo made mistakes? But he is not Raya. Raya is better in some ways. Thank God you're not coaches. Talk. I feel too for Rambo for not playing personally. All kind of problems in the media not in the changing room. It's in your mind and for your business. The solution is Rambo and his attitude. He showed you but you media criticized him for clapping.
All rubbish these guys blabbering
If ramsdale was not english they would not be making noise about the goalkeeping issue
How's this even a topic for the editor to even greenlight
If you got nothing better to talk about, how about taking a day off. I am sure Burley wont mind it đ
ESP-Nonsense đđđ stop it, this agenda was dead đ on arrival. Leave the Arsenal pool no fish đ to catch here.
This is why they are football pundits and Arteta is a world class manager of a top side in Europe. Pundits donât know football at the level a top manager does.
