  1. Would you to consider my point for a future debate : If the EPL can look at a player who physically assaults another player without the officials seeing it on the day and can call the players actions into question and ban them for a number of games. Why can this not be done with wrong refeeree and VAR decisions, why doesn't Kovacic retrospectively get a red card today and the subsequent ban, why doesn't a goal that is judged to be offiside but was on side actually get reinstated as a goal later that day or the following day. If this a was a Sunday league game in which our kids are playing and all that is at stake is our pride, I have no problem with referee mistakes on the day but dealing with an international sport that during tranfer windows trades in the billions, a "sorry mate, may bad" from EPL referees is unnacceptable and far too expensive a mistake to allow.

  2. That's what we are saying, when the Arsenal's players are out injured, no pundit talks about it…did we miss Bokayo? Yes of course but we played without him and won the match. Let's see MC bounce back from their current woes…or else Luton will beat them😅

  3. This is all nonsense! Why crying about City missed players? They had all their players available yet couldn't beat Arsenal in the Community Shield. Stevie predicted 3:1 bashing against Arsenal. Admit your erroneous judgement. Arsenal is force now.

  4. This Man City ream is in transition and needs rime to gel. I would be more worried with the fact that even with such form teams are failing to kill them off.
Once they click and players like Doku, Kovacic and even Pep figures put the new set up of all than its dangerous

  5. You underrate the how well Arsenal played to nullify city , Saliba had a near perfect rating , last season Arsenal missed Saliba at a critical point and with a thin squad the key players got burnt out , this season Arsenal have enough cover and if Saliba is fit all through expect Arsenal to get better

  6. The pundits should introspect whether the opposition's approach influenced City's performance. When City failed to register a single shot on target for over 60 minutes, it prompts the question: did Arsenal impeccably execute their game plan with tactics such as tight man-to-man marking in the midfield, a controlled press upfront, and Saliba's close marking of Haaland?

  7. M-Utd were the same when they were top dogs in the PL, by their own standards, they'd start the season a bit sluggish then kick into gear at the turn of the year to stride home most years.
Seems like the dominant teams need early season to shake off any subconscious complacency, that comes with winning it for prolonged periods.

  8. All of a sudden Haaland is bad because he didn't score at Arsenal. Guys Haaland is GOOD , he will hatrick your in your fav teams. Don't play.
Just that Arsenal with Saliba and gabi, always pocket hm, even in community shield was same story. That's just credit to defenders of a specific team. But the boy is good at scoring …

  9. no excuses for City…… I don't care who they're missing……. reality is, their midfield got outplayed by Jorginho…… City lost the game after those two missed chances in 1st half…… Arteta figured out how to eliminate those efforts in 2nd half and he neutralized City's offense completely……. granted, Rodri or KdB would be both very helpful, cause Rodri keeps offense and defense glued together and KdB can always figure something out individually……. but if City have the best depth in the world, they can have no excuses…… Arsenal also missed their biggest star

  10. did Craig Burley just casually said that "Grealish had a difficult pre season after the World Cup"? man when youre a small club all kinds of people will make up all kinds of sht to defend you

  11. Last season City won home and away against Arsenal. Though Saliba was injured but you guys praised City but when Arsenal won this time you've changed the topic to City injuries. ESPN pundits should stop the Arsenal hate and the bias in you punditry.

Kovacic should have been sent off by his two hash touches but no one is talking about that but if it were to be an Arsenal player you guys would have been lamented on that all day

  12. I don’t get why people keep saying Man City start their seasons slow and get going in January like they are always chasing and then just take over the next team. That was Fergies’ Man Utd teams in the past. You can’t consistently rack up 90 plus points each season by starting slow. Other teams have to start fast and be near perfect because City rack up these points.
