Ivan Toney marked his return from an eight-month ban with a goal as #brentfordfc beat #NottinghamForest 3-2 at Gtech Community Stadium.

The centre-forward, whose last Bees appearance came at Liverpool on 6 May, netted a clever free-kick to equalise for his side after Danilo put Forest ahead inside five minutes.

Ben Mee headed home to put the west Londoners ahead in the second half, before Chris Wood did the same thing to level for the visitors on 65 minutes.

But an incredible spin and volley from Neal Maupay settled the game, as the Bees won for the first time since 2 December.

VICTOR WERNERSSON is an extremely intelligent reader of the game and capable footballer who can play in either full-back position. He progressed through Malmö FF’s academy before joining Syrianska FC in January 2015.

Defensively, Wernersson remains an awesome proposition, one that all managers would love to have in their team. Solid and dependable, positionally Wernersson is excellent, always the correct distance from his colleagues and his opponent. Additionally, he is quick on the cover, merciless in the tackle and capable of standing up to the very best attackers and coming out on top.

Attackingwise, Wernersson is always looking for an attacking advantage, he uses his pace and technical ability to patrol the entire left side with purpose. Wernersson is an intelligent passer with good vision, he’s capable of creating chances for others. Charging along his flank like a steam train, with utilising terrific running power.

Wernersson has been crowned as the Best Left Defender in the Superettan of 2016 season. He remains one of the most talented young full-backs in Sweden. He has impressed for his club Syrianska FC and has been tipped to have a huge future on the international stage.
