The new Rangers manager Philippe Clement states: «It’s not an advantage of course to be seven points behind that’s clear. No, I think one thing and I think the major thing for the next weeks maybe months is that we need to be focused on ourselves. For me, a season is like a marathon and it’s of no use to look at this guy who is running in front of you all of the time and try to chase him with one great sprint and not have the legs to do the marathon, to kill yourself. You need to focus on yourself on your pace that your pace is faster than before, that it’s better than before so that you can do all of this marathon. It’s not about the next two games this season. It’s about a lot of games this season in a lot of different competitions. So we need to look at all of those things. We need to focus on ourselves and not on other teams to make our story better and better this season.»
