So let's get this straight, Tuchel comes to one of the best teams in Europe who win their league 9 times out of 10 at worst, he breaks the club's transfer record to bring one of the best strikers in the world into a team which already had many world class players. Bayern are playing badly and it's everyone else's fault because he didn't get enough money?! Is he serious? I was always baffled how people called him an elite manager considering he has never done anything except win a CL that was half done when he got there! His Chelsea team could never open teams up, not to mention once again be had a team full of superstars. Could it be that Tuchel isn't as good a people have made him it to be?

No, he wasn't. Cause he got nothing on Alonso. Tuchel is just a bad manager or at least very wrong for Bayern. Why else would you choose such a lineup, with two players in the back just coming back from Africa and Asia (Mazraoui, Kim), one from injury (Upamecano) and one playing on the left which he has never done (Boey), and on top of all NOT changing anything when it clearly didn't work? Tuchel has effectively neutered the Bayern team to a shadow of their former self.

I think Florian Wirtz is the difference. He is incredible. High pressing, runs all over the pitch, his passing is out of this world, his technical ability is something I have a hard time to remember having seen from a German player before.
