  1. High risk high reward strategy once some of there players dont perform or any other reasons chelsea will be stuck with them on high contracts unable to sell. Also its pretty clear todd doesn't have patience of waiting years to build a team the normal way

  2. Funny you don’t mention the €250m we’ve sold.
Why is an 8 year contract wrong ?, at least we don’t have to worry about negotiating contracts for a while !. Investing with the long term in mind, maybe the new way.

  3. Chelsea have an average forward line and may not even get top 4, which is their minimum requirement. Chelsea have wasted alot of money in my view and teams do not "grow together."

  4. yes chelsea spent a lot , united have spent over a billion in 5 years what have they won a carbao cup(they wont talk about that). And pep whining (ignoring klopp as he always moans) brother you spent a lot more than a billion just to win a ucl two years later than chelsea

  5. It's a two way street, Chelsea spent £900m and the receiving clubs get a share of that money to re-invest in their squad at greater capacities. Why are these pundits acting like the transfer funds evaporate into thin air the moment Chelsea buy a player?

  6. Lavia has a 40m buyback clause from man city, chelsea have showed interest in lavia in January, and Liverpool wanted him so getting him and caicedo was always going to be the target.

This move isn’t from nowhere and me being a fan, hearing about all the rumors and a lot of the numbers, Chelsea’s transfer plan is starting to look genius.

  7. Todd Bohley has NO IDEA what hes doing. Just spends ungodly sums on players he dosent even need to absurdly long contracts. If Chelsea dont qualify for European football theyre gonna be in serious trouble. Its like watching your uncle play football manager for the first time

  8. Chelsea fans don’t realise how this could back fire big time with UEFAs FFP or they refuse to think that far ahead, this could all come crashing down for Chelsea , the fans think their owner is doing his best for the club, all he is doing with this ridiculous spending is putting the club in a very high risk situation.

  9. Why does no one ever talk about the salaries for Chelsea players as well. Include total/net spending with the salaries, as that is what is really attracting the players, and for me… raises all sorts of questions about the club's accounts and FFP.

  10. What a waste of oxygen this discussion is. The deals are done move on. History will be the judge of whether or not the approach is right or wrong. One fact is we have removed all the negativity of last season from our squad.

  11. These players were sort after since last season…The spending is balanced by the profits…Now talk about the sales and profits made…Roman left the club debt free with 15 players to sell

  12. Since Roman took over Chelsea, these English people have been fighting against chelsea…

Last season they all showed their true colors when Chelsea were sanctioned…
They were all happy, Roman will leave… And Chelsea won't be the same again.

They even turned down the Saudis taking over chelsea… They gave it to an American.

Chelsea is spending, they can't hide their frustration…

    Fools…

  13. You are that used to live next door to Harrods in the centre of a great city around the world or in the north, where you're constantly checking to see if the wheels are still on your car, let's be honest let's really be honest the north of England is grim , grim as hell
