  1. The sight of all those "loyal" Arsenal fans abandoning their team and leaving early was despicable. They've had a great season, 15 points ahead of everyone else, and don't deserve to be disrespected like that by their "supporters".

  2. You run out of steam when you play 2-3 times a week all season. Arsenal have played 1 game a week for the last 3 months. They have also been lucky with injuries most of the season, barely any suspensions aswell. Arteta has been backed with 20+ players and 500 mill. Wierd to give them sympathy.

  3. I am as big an Arsenal fan as anybody else out there. But we threw it away. Call it bottle, choke, I don't know, call it what you want the reality is the reality. Hindisght gives you dozens of perspective but the reality is only one. We had no Europe after Sporting and we had full weeks to prepare. We had an 8 point lead albeit with a game in hand but that worked in our favor. Xhaka starts a fight out of no reason at all, anfield wakes up. We are smashing west ham, and weeee…literally west ham was offering nothing, weeee just gave away a penalty. Same game, Saka cant keep his composure and we sky a penalty. Ramsdale, then gifts a goal to southhampton to make the worst possible start. Those are all signs of nerves, too much emotion, lack of concentration and they all happened when the finish line was looming. They felt ther pressure and cracked under it. I am not here for silly narratives that no one expected it. Ok, but the season played out the way it did and now you're saying well it wasn't even supposed to happen. It's just denial and trying to soften the pain. But yes, it was 100 bottled.

  4. stop with the excuses
    arsenal bottled it
went out of every competition….8pts clear with 9 games to go
    played once every week
you're making it look like arsenal were chasing city all season
    com on now

  5. Arsenal fans are annoying, but you have to feel bad for the players. They played their hearts out this season, outperformed all expectations and their fans walked out on them because they lost to Brighton.

  6. Unlucky Arsenal. Liverpool still the only team who have really competed to the very last day with Abu-Dhabi Blues in the last few years 😁

  7. For all the hard work done by Jesus, Arsenal need a at the very worst, a 20+ goal striker. Jesus is too busy, and not a great finisher. In the end, he and Zinchenko showed why they were sold

  8. If Arsenal are running out of steam when only concentrating on one competition. It put's into perspective last season and Liverpool's efforts when they got to 3 finals and only lost the PL on the last day and by the finest of margins. It's no wonder this season has been a minor disaster in terms of results and probably no CL place in the top four.

  9. Always a lazy argument that Arsenal can't compete with others like as if they won't go and strengthen. They need a bigger squad of better players.

  10. I’ll never ever be a fan of passing from the back . I don’t care if u have the personnel ,the energy and the coaching tactics to make it work . Time and time again this season we’ve seen teams get caught lacking and good players on teams have lost their spots in the starting lineup due to that pressure of not being able to play from the back .

  11. After all is not that bad and again individual mistakes are the reason for the 2nd goal and maybe for the 1st also.
2 great opportunities missed before the 1st goal so it could've gone either ways but defensively we're poor without Saliba and just like last season it seems like the injury of 1 player fucked the whole season.
We must emphasize on that and on the individual mistakes.

  12. Next season Arsenal won’t have the chance to make it to Top4… this season was theirs because the top teams ain’t in their best peak buh he failed to grant the chance…soo sad Arsenal and their fans

  13. Arsenal have a Billionaire owner, so they’re capable of spending big money – they have, and will continue to, up until a point. But to say that a Billionaire owner is still not enough to keep pace with City’s spending power (transfers + salaries) under a State owned club, highlights the issue the Premier League has.

As to the point that Arsenal will not have this chance again, it’s just sensationalist bollocks, devoid of real thinking. No one said anything about the club at the start of the season, and up until this week, they were on pace for a 90 point season. Everyone will get better, yes, we assume so, but weren’t Spurs and Chelsea meant to be doing things this year? Wasn’t Utd. supposed to be on the cusp of challenging? What happened to Liverpool? No pundit ever seems to learn, and at the start/end of every season, they almost always default back to tired tropes that are more often wrong than right.

Equally as predictable, is the assumption that Arsenal won’t now progress equally, if not more, than the others. They’ve gone from 5th to 2nd, narrowly missing out on 1st, after just one Summer transfer window (having previously laid the foundations of the youngest squad in the Premier League). Progress isn’t linear, and the growth curve will lessen, but their trajectory says they’ll go forwards and upwards, not backwards and downwards.

  14. They should talk about Brighton more than make the story about Arsenal – well done Jules. There's too much of the mentality by football journalists etc that the so-called big clubs are ALWAYS the story – even when they loose (badly), or are out-played, etc.

  15. 😌 That was somewhat embarrassing.. humbled @ home effectively choked under the pressures of expectation.. Arsenal had no more than 40% possession all game!! Playing like an away team @ home 🤷‍♂️.. & Arsenal wanted Everton to do them a favour.. FFS we couldn’t even do ourselves a favour, a sorry end to the season .. capitulating @ home to Brighton was the final part of the end of any PL dreams, & now of course the relentless media & has been players turned weak over paid pundits will all be saying.. they were always going to collapse.. yes we dared to believe but in the end we all have to concede we are 2nd best in the PL table @ least 😉⚽️

  16. Arsenal have had few injuries, went out of both cups early, weren't in Europe, and they ran out of steam with 10 games left to play? BS.
Arsenal bottled it, like they always do. Biased presentation like this just makes ESPN FC look stupid.

  17. I’m concerned about ESR10. It’s like he may need a loan away to build confidence. Vieira also. These guys were supposed to be the Bernado/KDB in the Xhaka role for us. Doing what Odegaard does on the half spaces to the right…but it’s not happened immediately. I still have hope though. But we can’t experiment and not buy hoping they click.

Stage 4 means we must be ruthless like Turkish says. We must put all the pressure we can put on the board giving Arterta all the money he needs.

Liverpool Newcastle and United cannot catch up on us next season. They are all rebuilding and we can’t let them close the gap we opened up on them!!! They will definitely be buying based on what we have done and will want to close the gap. Let’s do that on City, who can’t buy much this coming season.

  18. We set out to qualify for the cl and we did! That’s the target for stage 3. Next season is stage 4 where we must challenge for the EPL and do well in the Champions League. That means we must get world class players.

A striker like Osimeneh, Sesko. A midfielder no8 like Odegaard in the Xhaka role. This allows Jesus to play wide with Saka, and they are our best creative wingers able to work and create and score as well as assist. With Osimeneh upfront, they will be moré devastating.

Xhaka Trossard Martinelli J20 from the bench, that’s close to what City have.

A world class RB who can start, like Cancelo. Allows Ben to go back to compete as a CB and we can release Holding, and manage Tomiyasu minutes well. If Tierney also goes, we can use Kiwior there to alternately work with Zinchenko and Tomiyasu.

  19. No no you can't put the run out of steam stamp on arsenal team when they haven't played the most games. We kick off when klopp and pep moan about the amount of games dont be letting arsenal bottling the league be put down to running out of steam

  20. Forget Arsenal ….Brighton is such a proper football team. They are a joy to watch , and truly deserve to win. They controlled the game , and were so much better.
