  1. And that’s why they lost in the quarter final cause Ronaldo and Cancelo was on the bench, this game against Morocco was a very important game, they really should of started Ronaldo and Cancelo have a higher chance to win but look what happened, terrible decision…

  2. Even a Schhol boy has more knowledge then these Chair warmers.
This is the first game where Fernando santos started with 1 DM and an agressive Midfield .
If you are Switzerland n watching previous game tapes they were caught by surprise .
    Get some knowledge !!!
Agenda here is to be Anti Cristiano

  3. What does it matter if Ronaldo was on the bench or not. The win is more important and knowing that in knockouts having someone like Ronaldo coming from the bench with the possibility of extra time Ronaldo would be perfect especially when it’s all about mentality in extra time.

  4. It's Switzerland not Brazil. It was tactical. These guys are blowing it out of proportion. Thank God these guys don't manage teams. There is some paid agenda and mechanism in the works. All this attention on one topic explains it.

  5. Anyone who has followed Cristiano Ronaldo’s career since 2004 would be so so happy with this Portugal side.

Remember those dark days of 2008 Euro and 2010 World Cup? Remember 2012 Euro where Ronaldo literally dragged a dead side all the way to the semi-finals? Remember 2014 when Ronaldo had to start every game despite being seriously injured? Remember 2016 Euro where the man had to limp back on field in the final despite suffering a career reshaping knee injury simply because there weren’t many suitable replacements? Remember that fairytale hat-trick against Spain in 2018?

For ages, one man has carried the burden of an entire nation’s footballing dreams. This man has nothing left to prove to anyone. Watching a balanced Portugal team with good squad depth is bound to make a true Ronaldo fan happy. By “true Ronaldo fan”, I mean those people who stayed up late nights to watch a hapless Portugal side being saved by the sheer brilliance of one individual, day in day out; game after game, tournament after tournament. At 38, Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t need to start every game. He will come on the pitch on minute 60 and every time he does, the crowd will erupt.

Dear social media kids who started watching the game in 2020, listen to that noise, that thunderous applause as the great man comes on. That’s his legacy — untouched, unrivalled, undiminished. 🐐🇵🇹

  6. Switzerland got the tactics wrong and found themselves with 5 in defense and mid-field getting run rings around. Shame. On the other hand, Portugal got it perfectly right. Specially with replacing Ronaldo. I feel sorry for him ending his career like this. He should have hung up his boots two seasons ago.
