  1. I'm not sure how to process this. We won a home game – let alone a home game where Penso officiates. We scored multiple goals in a home game since I don't remember. Maybe it's turning around a little, but I'm still cynical.

  2. I'm from Brazil, a Flamengo fan and recently I got interested in watching MLS games, I confess that I'm enjoying watching!

The only weak point in terms of the world technical level of these teams is in the defensive part and in the lighter marking, but this makes the games beautiful to see, because with lighter football they are even more fun than games with a lot of physical contact.

But it's only a matter of time before rivalries increase between teams and, as in other more traditional leagues, over the years MLS coaches and teams will toughen up the marking and fight for more spaces, especially in the defensive part.

The evolution of the league is already noticeable and it is among the 10 most valuable in the world. What they need now is the support of the fans to strengthen the teams and the audience for the games.

  3. Thanks for yet again eliminating any semblance of drama these highlights could've held for those who didn't see the game live by including the requisite spoiler video thumbnail. I would've absolutely hated it if I didn't know for certain that stoppage-time goal was coming. No drama or excitement registered at all in the highlight viewing experience from MLS. Keep up the great work!

  4. HOMELESS FC LOSING ON THE LAST PLAY OF THE GAME!!! YOU LOVE TO SEE IT 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

NYCFC with and without Taty are like two entirely different teams lol

  5. I am so happy that Orlando won this one, and you can see the improvements of Oscar Pareja, Akindele, and Angulo. First off, Orlando isn’t parking the bus for points anymore like Pareja’s normal style. We’re starting to press until the end hence the game here. I seemingly was the only person not supporting Akindele and probably rightfully so; he was supposed to act as Orlando’s “super sub” this year, but had no goal contributions and his style of pressing was to jog toward the opposition and win headers by ducking behind much shorter players. Now he’s sprinting toward the defense and scoring headers by rising high. He had now earned back my respect. Lastly, Angulo was brought to Orlando as a Palmeiras flop; in 70+ games, he had 11 goal contributions, and in one of the biggest moments of his life, he assists beautifully on the last play of the game. I’m hoping Orlando buy him out. I am proud to be an Orlando fan, and I don’t know how NYCFC players slept last night.

    Also, two things:
#1. Justen Haak was in charge of guarding Akindele and failed, similar to his form since 2019. He should be sold in January.
#2. Credit to the VAR. Orlando has had a poorly called game every month this season, and it nearly happened again. Chris Penso, who’d I’d argue is one of the worst refs in MLS, nearly collected an extra bag of cash by making crap offside and red card calls, but the VAR called him over and forced him to see his error and overturn it. Thank you for this ref for actually earning his money correctly this time.
