  7. This was a really disappointing performance for Houston and you can see it in the highlights. What you can see is plenty of poor defending with players not getting close enough on crosses, players out of position, and/or players just abandoning tracking dangerous runs. You can see plenty of wastefulness in possession, with the pass out the back that led to the second goal and the pass from a corner that gave Charlotte a great opportunity.

    What isn't as apparent in the highlights (for obvious reasons) is how static the Dynamo were in possession. I lost count of the number of times a player had time on the ball and had 9 static players to pass to. Nobody ahead of the ball looked interested in creating an opening. So we ended up with bombarding the box with hopeful crosses that amounted to nothing.

    An all-around poor performance from the Dynamo from both a mental and physical perspective. I'm afraid HH's impending arrival isn't going to be enough to save this season given the tailspin we are in.

  20. Does the two Major League Soccer teams, Charlotte FC (which they belong in the Eastern Conference) and Houston Dynamo FC (which they belong in the Western Conference) have Southern roots? Did they play last night?

  22. MLS, can you PLEASE stop spoiling the result in the thumbnail? When we see a player celebrating in the thumbnail image, we know that their team won. It ruins the ending for those of us that didn't see the game.

  24. And this is why European clubs don't take MLS serious. And superstars don't want to come till there 40+ years old. I know it's F***ed up but it's true.
    Or any league on this side of the pond.

  28. Finally a win far from home! It could have been a much larger score… if they train a bit more on shots and conviction. But we start to see a squad which knows what to to do on the pitch. Good job guys and coach!
