It has been a WHILE since Canada has played a game in the World Cup tournament, Brendan Dunlop takes us through how long it’s been and who these young skilled players are, led by Alphonso Davies, who have finally gotten Canada to the tournament.

finally, Canadian football is playing in the World Cup again.
Weird how Top Gun is oddly connected lol
Thank you ?
It's gonna be fun to see Canada in the World Cup finally. They truly have a golden generation on their hands I will be watching them when they play. Respect from a Mexico fan.
Jonathan David was born in Brooklyn
Look at that, the CBC will allow comments on one of their channels.
I'm stunned.
It's not soccer. It is football ⚽️
Thirty-nine? Wow, Buchanan is amazing!!! What a team. All the best in Qatar!!! Wish I could be there in '22
Good luck, but you're gonna need it against high profile football teams in Europe or South America
I peg Canada's chances at a pot 3 berth at around 33%. If you want to cheer on Canada's pot 3 chances tomorrow, here's what you want to see (in order of start):
1. Senegal beats Egypt but by 1 goal only. 2-1 would be perfect;
2. Ghana beats or ties Nigeria
3. North Macedonia takes down Portugal
4. The Congo either beats Morocco or sees a high-scoring tie
5. Mali beats or ties Tunisia
6. Algeria and Cameroon tie
LETS GO BOYS!! QATAR 2022 HERE WE COME, EH!! ??????????????
Actually this is Africa’s team.
You mean Haitian team lol
Where can Canada improve before the World Cup, and can they kick it up a notch or two, or is this their ceiling? Canada will have to be faster, and more of a threat from distance, these European/South American/Asian teams aren't going to allow too many tap ins, own goals and corners…"
I'm so proud of this team. They believed in themselves this entire qualification process and they achieved their main goal of qualifying for the World Cup in Qatar 2022. Go Canada!
Lol if it's not hockey the cbc doesn't care…..Football is much much bigger than the NHL start recognizing….
