The announcer is Nicolas Cantor.
He is the son of the most famous soccer announcer in the U.S. regardless of language, Andres Cantor, who generally calls big matches in Spanish for Telemundo Deportes.
The younger Cantor is still trying to find his own way in the business.

LMAO where are all of the Atlanta fans claiming that Atlanta United (imposter name) is the best team in the world and miles ahead of the rest of the league! I never understood the massive hype for this team apart from the crowds. They had never shown themselves to be elite. Yes they are very good for an expansion side but it is not at all surprising that they have not run over the rest of the league and lost at home to DCU
And also when is Univision going to do something about their god AWFUL commentators. Like holy hell I was glad that Ramses Sandoval took over in the second half. And I thought it couldn't possibly get worse than Ramses Sandoval. Like WTF is wrong with the first guys voice he sounds like he is choking on a dildo and like he has only been speaking English for like 6 months. You should have to speak English to do an English commentary position. I understand Spanish but the Spanish commentary is barely better it still sounds like they are trying to be in my living room having a beer with me rather than commentating the game. Listen to Peter Drury, Arlo White, or Jon Champion, or even John Strong. They are good commentators.

I find it better to listen to the Facebook commentators than these two. At least Mark Rogondino shows a lot more confidence and doesn't do the "goal" chant every time.

MLS commentators really should not yell "gooooooooal". It feels so out of place. Let the guys at La Liga (for example) do that!
