Chelsea FC – Asian Soccer Star

Zesh Rehman is the latest in a long line of football personalities to show his support to the Chelsea Football Club’s Asian Star campaign.

The Zesh Rehman Foundation works hard to help change perceptions surrounding Asians in football and open up more opportunities.

The ZRF works at the grassroots to help aspiring footballers and coaches develop their skills through coaching clinics, soccer schools and personal development courses.
There’s still time to sign up for the 2012 Asian Star initiative — which has already uncovered five potential stars of the future who went on to play for professional clubs’ academies. This year the initiative offers players the chance to win a year-long place within the Chelsea FC Foundation’s Elite Training Centre
.
Asian Star 2012 will take place on Saturday 26 May at Chelsea’s state-of-the-art training ground in Cobham for players in the Under-9 to Under-12 age groups.

Go to www.chelseafc.com/asianstar to sign up for this year’s event.

  1. I read a lot of great reviews on the net about how exactly Episoketren System can help you improve your soccer technique. Has any one tried this popular training program?

  2. Still you. Do you even read or even understand when you wrote your comment? Duh? you said "why asian star??bring Chelsea to Greece!!!" .. Hello.. in was not "just' bring Chelsea to Greece. You meant to double standard the ASIAN as a whole. Got it??

  3. Zesh rehman only pakistani to play in EPL!!! there is bunch of talent in pakistan need to be polished… the only reason why pakistan lack in football is funding and polishing!! and law and order situation is quite bad… if chelsea send their scouts .. iam sure that alternative to old gaurds will be created in Pakistan.. its our humble request to chelsea fc that lpz send ur scouts!!! its good for both chelsea and pakistan… blues is my colour!!!

  4. I think this is more to motivate Asians kids to get into sports, it's mostly the white and black kids here in the UK that go into sports and eventually are successful. I think everyone needs a bit of stimulation.

  5. yeah of course youth players won't be suddenly playing the champions league, i'm saying we should prepare them more better, because if you look now the only decent players that came out these last 15 years is terry and mceachran while barca is producing incredible players every season! i hope we sign hazard in maluda and kalou's position and also bro i hope we drift mceachran into the team next season, he's great passer, swansea are a fool not using him 🙂

  6. nah bro, it's maradonna and pele that's over rated, they think they are gods or something, fucking crack addicts, real legends i believe Ronaldinho , messi , ronaldo and c.ronaldo

  7. But as usual Roman brought Marin, probably without saying even a word to anyone in the dressing room, as usual, as a chelsea supporter and a man i am proud to say that i hope chelsea will learn from barca and keep di matteo and give our youngsters better preperations.

  8. Malouda-marco marin
    Drogba-Lukaku
    Kalou-Sturridge, milan Lalkovic
    Bosingwa- Sam Huchigson
Essien-(holding midfielder is the only position which i recommend to buy a new player Possibly Yann M'villa)
Lampard- Josh Mceachran- Kevin de bryne
    cole- ryan bertrand, van anholt

  9. I don't understand why there should be initiatives for British Asian players, or players of any race/background in particular. WHY should there be more Asians in British football? Why should it matter what race, religion, or ethnic origin someone is? It's a joke! We're all the same!
