they ruled a wolves goal out for the same reason against chelski and no one complained because it's against the media darling
Napoli deserved
Nope
Ac Milan been very poor lately maybe they need a better manager.
Italian referees are trash
Milan don't deserve to lose
Ac Milan were robbed
Can we have a cam in the var room? Just to check if they are gettin high in there? ?
Gab saying Juan jesus doesn't see Giroud or know he is there is ridiculous, and Giroud definitely moves in attempt to play the ball while on the ground, marginal to say that interfered with Juan jesus but by letter of the law it would appear correct. Even without offside probably should have been a free out for how giroud climbed over Juan jesus to win the initial header
if its offside then what about Mbappe & Garcia Incident in Nation League
It was a valid goal ?
They’re saying if giroud wasn’t offsides the Napoli player would have an easier job clearing it.
So its DEF weak but he does interfere in the play. So by the rule its Offsides
Gironde climbed all over the Nap defender
I think and in future, if VAR is being called upon to rubber stamp a deceision, then ALL match officials (rather than just the ref) need to go over have a look and have majority verdict on any incident/offside decision, penalty decision etc in question.
There's too much at stake and in the modern game, for match officials to get their decision wrong and especially with the "help" of VAR technology.
Please be brave and just imagine that decision being given against your team in a WC or UCL finial, quarter or semi final, promotion playoff game, etc.
Without technology, it's a very reluctant "OK" mistakes happen. But I think what this incident is screaming out is even with a TV monitor, with fast forward, pause & rewind option, the ref still only sees what he wants to see.
They only way you'll ever right is with group majority (so ref & both linesman = 2/1) decision(s).
Yes.
If this is offside, then Mbappe's goal vs Spain in Nations league finals shouldn't stand.
What does he means the guy can’t see you. If someone is on the defender back and in contact with them then it’s clear that they’re interfering
From 7 points down to 4 point ahead all hail INTER
There's no use banging on about whether a goal should have been allowed or what….kessi and the rest went running of to celebrate an equalizer when they needed another goal to win…that just shows the lack of mentality to win. Milan got to stop giving pioli new contracts without him actually earning it because the guy has no clue what to do anymore…other teams also have many injuries but their coaches are adapting…this guy just sticks to the same formation and hopes.
Bogus call oli was laying on his back with there player on top of him what on earth was he meant to do the ref should not be allowed to ref a professional game again
I feel somehow Milanisti will blame Juve for this. Deluded cocky fans
Get rid of these referees entirely. They make too many mistakes and never answer for them. Even Napoli players were in shock that the ref ruled it offside.
It's a rigged system. That was not offside ?
The correct grammar would be " Were AC Milan robbed of an equalizer vs Napoli"
If this is offside, then I think every single goal scored with an opponent ahead of the line is offside
Liverpool are that good that even when the referees significantly helped Tottenham, they still didn't lose.
Kane made a career ending tackle on Robertson and that doesn't get a review, but robertsons swipe with no studs gets a review.
Jota got fouled in the box by a player who was on a yellow card.
This is a game to show how corrupt the officials are.
Giroud looked at the ball so he was offsides
Referees should be completely eliminated from football.I think technology is mature enough that we can use computers only during a match
Ac Milan????
Napoli needs martens more than they need insigne
Not sure how that was an offside. Glad Napoli won though.
yes!
I didn't know that Serie A was still fixed as f*ck….now I do.
These guys jinxed us the moment they said Milan are top of the table so they are the best team in Italy.
No
"Was AC Milan robbed…" Are you lot qualified journalists or what? Get some English lessons.
Napoli is a Champions League team
Giroud tried to play the ball on the ground. Making him offside. He had no right to the ball
Gab is the only good pundit in this show
Yes they were robbed
