Foden will have to be the one because usually around this time it was Mahrez who stepped up. Winter and Ramadan Mahrez was highly efficient.
Just put the original rule back to what it was that it has to be a deliberate handball.
A return of KDB, Doku and Haaland will be just what City needs. I can see a 10-12 win run coming up
City 100% starter crowding the refs after how robbed they got in the 2012 to 2019 seasons when they weren't doing that and got many calls against them and United and Chelsea did it every game and got the refs favour.
For Liverpool to get a pen it needs to be 80-20 certain. For City, it only has to be 50-50. Fact.
Craig thinks its a pen. Big surprise
If that's not a pen for handball then what is? A player diving like a goalkeeper to save it? His arm was raised above his head and it blocked a dangerous situation, literally 100% a penalty. Why is this even a debate lol.
Everton had a good gameplan considuring how outclassed they are in terms of talent, City was struggling playing from the back with all that pressure. But this was a crazy plan considuring how many games are left in the next weeks and the front 6 sprinting and pressing the City players for the full 90 is going to tire and potentially injure them.
City is fortunate in that they also seem to benefit from inconsistencies in VAR.
Foden was superb 😊❤
Jose chelsea wouldve blocked that ball without a hands ball. They knew how to put their bodies on the line. These guys have weak instincts. Use your chest. Or head. John terry would never.
Britain's Biggest Ever Football Scandal are man city! 115 times cheating b4st4rds
Cant understand why City needs these contentious decisions going their way to win the title. After all without any doubt, they are already the best team probably in the world. And they definitely have the best manager in the world too. Our officials and var are probably the worst as compared to their european counterparts. Its really embarrassing when 99% says var and officials are not up to it.
If this was Arsenal hounding the ref we would be castigated .
well its a bit of a stretch to say that its a statement win really imo I mean even m utd won at goodison park more comfortably than that really and they didnt need a dodgy pen either🤣 of course m city are in the conveersation re the title but this was just a case of job done nothing more than that really 🤔
Glorified friendlies that earned city 105 million shut up craig
City fans in comments. Never been to a city game. Glory hunting rats
These English commentators don’t even mention Alvarez makes absolutely no sense
It was a penalty. It shouldn’t be about whether he intentionally handled it or not. The ball hit the arm in the box, and it was a penalty. It is similar to a player tackling another player anywhere else on the pitch and misses the ball and gets the man. He usually doesn’t intentionally go for the man but it happens. The ref gives a cautionary card and/or free kick. Therefore, it is a penalty for handling in the box, and that accidental hand ball was big enough that it did alter the direction of the ball.
Mario was def right bout the rules these days. Kinda boring, wouldn’t be surprised if robots play game in future. I guess they want perfection!
Alvarez is such a better overall player than Haaland. Also so much more enjoyable to watch City when they're actually trying to play football with all 11 players instead of just hunting for perfect passes in the box to Haaland.
If Nunes wasn't a lost chicken for all of his game this game would be over quickly. He looks like a decent player but he looked out of place in this game, too passive.
Except that it's City's own play that keeps their opponents in the game. Once again, the focus on possession at all costs, even deep in their own end and under pressure, makes them concede a goal. I don't understand why, when in a dangerous situation, they don't just simply clear the ball out of their end and then with their press, get the ball back further away from their own goal. They have conceded so many goals in this manner and have lost points accordingly.
Uncle Philly. Philly Fodann.
This panel are as corrupt as the officials for not calling out the corruption
115 FC again.
Pickford is a good goalkeeper but gosh as neutral, the dude is annoying. I wouldn't want to be a defender playing in front of me.
