Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 official abbreviated to PES 2014, also known in Japan and South Korea as World Soccer: Winning Eleven 2014 is an upcoming association football video game in the latest the Pro Evolution Soccer series, developed and published by Konami. The game was officially announced by Konami on March 10, 2013.[3][4] The game will feature a modified version of the new Fox Engine.[5] It’s slated for a September 19 release date in Europe, and across North America on September 20. The playable demo will become available on September 11 to download.[6] Once again, the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup competitions are fully licensed in the game, and the First Playable UEFA Europa League without entering Master League, Become a Legend, and/or League. For the first time, the game will feature an exclusive license for the AFC Champions League,[7] the Argentine Primera División,[8][9] Chilean Primera División,[10] Copa Sudamericana, Recopa Sudamericana[11] and Arabic commentary as well, by Rhaouf Khelif of Al Jazeera Sports,[12] also Argentinean commentary, by Mariano Closs and Fernando Niembro and Chilean Commentary by Fernando Solabarrieta and Patricio Yañez of Fox Sports Latinoamérica.
Konami confirmed that rain will not feature in PES 2014 as well as Stadium Editor and Spanish Stadiums due to EA Sports game’s FIFA 14 licences.[13]
