  1. I see Messi playing as long as the team is of quality. They finally are a complete team and having already won it, not having all that weight on his shoulders makes it more possible, assuming he is there mentally and truly feels that he can contribute to the team.

I should note Argentina struggled the last couple of qualifiers and Uruguay can take it all as well.

  2. Canada is not gonna lose this game by more than a goal… the entire back line has been revamped with speed … it’ll be a matter of experience tomorrow and how long we take to adjust

  3. They need to sit Messi on the bench. He's been playing in lower leagues and against lower opposition for years. Argentina is better without him. He's lucky they included him in their world cup team.

  4. most penalties in world cup history! awarded for who? the winners?
never mind Sepp Bladder and Platini getting charged with corruption for awarding Qatar to Host. That world cup was corrupt from day 1!

  5. Funny how Argentina’s route to the final include NONE of the favorites on the top side of the list 😂 No Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, or USA possible matchup until final

  6. Canada is a weird anomaly, they've been improving vastly in recent years (this is the same national team that called up and utilized a player from the Belgian 2nd division and a midfielder just 2 months before his 40th birthday for the last World Cup) and now have a manager with a legitimate resume with Jesse Marsch. The problem is that Marsch managed his first game for Canada less than a month ago, but his most recent game was a draw against France in Bordeaux so it is possible that we could see an improved side, but against Argentina, this is a massive hurdle they likely can't overcome.
