  1. Better not stop participating in the Open Cup 🤨!!!
    Also, just only do the Leagues Cup 3 out of 4 years. It’s fine if it takes a one year break every 4 years for the CWC. Although, I agree that the CWC will never be taken seriously globally.

  2. What will FIFA do when the best teams from UEFA treat this tournament like preseason friendlies? If you have just won your league title and the champions league weeks before this club World Cup … what’s the incentive to send your best players to play in this experimental tournament?

    The 2025 Schedule would be like this

    May – Champions league
    June – Nations League semis/Final
    June/July – Club World Cup
    August – Start league.

    The club World Cup would be the perfect opportunity to take a few weeks off if you are a top player from a big club in Europe. That’s probably the last window of rest before the 2026 World Cup the following year.

  3. People crying about millionaires being tired seem to forget most people get 20 days off a year and the average salary in the Uk is £22,000 and work 8 hours per day not including travel, cry me a river.

  4. "Real" World Cup in 2026 might be not ideal if this new Club World Cup will be held with the insane new format and taking place after the domestic season has been ended.
    Players will lose their energy and become fatigued. As such, they will never be able to play very well with the country a further year later.
    Having 64 games in this new Club World Cup instead of 7 straight knockout games is a lot mess.

Just to let you guys know not a single European club especially in England will take this tournament serious it’s a joke and a faces this tournament is being held in pre season before a season starts and English clubs will never risk getting their players injured for this useless tournament it would be literally impossible for teams to prepare for this when their main season starts after it
