Charlotte knew that DC's defense would just react to the ball. They weren't even looking to score, just pass it around so each DC defender was caught on their back foot, and then put a shot on target. Romo should've just caught a few, but the defenders need to be marking their man. When I was playing defense back in the day, I would rarely keep my eye on the ball. The man is your duty and rely on your teammates to tell you when the ball is coming. Terrible communication from DC. we need Hamid back more than ever.

They need to add Relegation to the MLS! Teams are so used to getting the L’s without any big consequences besides the playoffs.. Players are just giving up after the 2nd goal against now on days without any will to fight back..
