Orlando City SC and New York City FC entered Major League Soccer as fellow expansion teams in 2015. Their first regular season game was against each other and on Nov. 21, the teams will meet for the first time in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs with a Round One Match at Exploria Stadium.

  2. How can you edit out all of the drama in the penalty shootout? There’s no continuity when Rodrigo Schlegel goes in goal after Pedro Gallese is sent off (presumably for dissent). Not to mention all the kerfuffle over subbing a player in a penalty shootout. The refs losing count of the number of pens and calling the game too early (final whistle was audibly blown incorrectly) was also edited out. Shambolic editing of the highlights of this outrageous game.

Just to clear things up, The MLS this season was started on IFAB 19/20 rules and one of those rules is if the goalkeeper steps of line its an automatic Yellow, The new IFAB 20/21 rule which sadly didn’t come into affect due to COVID. The rule was changed where if the goalkeeper steps off his line its a warning and on the second infraction is a Yellow. The referee needed clarification on with IFAB term to call on the field.
