In the biggest transfer in MLS history, Vancouver Whitecaps FC have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich that will see Homegrown winger Alphonso Davies move to the German giants at the end of the 2018 season. The move involves a fixed transfer fee and additional compensation that could total more than $22 million US, the most ever received by an MLS club in the league’s 23-year history.

When i saw clint Dempsey as young i thiught he was goin to be great he did okey
In usa and mexico you can never trust a young talent
Europe will better soccer
MLS got some weak defenders
esse menino vai longe, gosto do futebol dele
Immigration saves another country, if not for immigrants Canada and the USA would be just another boring European nation.
maurice edu canadian
Wow. Rocket Man. Welcome to Bayern. What a speed the now have with Gnabry, Coman and Davies..
Dont make me laugh a big star? Mls is nothing compare to the European competition
This is one big transfer for Alfonso Davies! He’s for sure one of the best I. This league . He’s also really good when comes to far shots.
I want to get his whitecaps jersey now
You can tell his skill and movement is not MLS quality but better and bayern got a glimpse i hope he is loaned out and not rot with b or c team.
And that’s the end of his career.
Something tells me this could be a bad transfer for him but who knows it could be good
Too bad he’s Canadian
There’s a certain team in Spain ?? that wears similar colors showing interest in Davies….
Commissioner’s Pick
Sad to see him go from the MLS, He's amazing.
Average at best.
23 million is stupid, I think Whitecaps would've allowed him to go for half or even quarter of that.
As a bayern fan i can say that we need more OP players.
Bundesliga is my favorite league to watch…i want to say the right thing that if mls wants to continue progress they should keep these young players and build stars that stay but honestly it will probably never happen so nvm.
Davies reminds me of Mbappe.Might as well call him the Canadian mbappe
I’m happy to see that European teams paying attention to MLS.Maybe next Josef Martinez
Best players in concacaf Pulisic, Davies, Bailey
that is awesome! it was great to see him in the Gold Cup up until he got hurt which was sad, felt like Canada had a small chance for the trophy. It was dumb for WC to have him play defense this season when his skill was surely needed in the front line. Best of luck Alphonso, proud to be Canadian
Best case scenario for him is training with first team, playing with second team. Then next season getting some minutes with their first team and then go out on loan to first or second Bundesliga
He could be a key player for Canada in FIFA World Cup in 2026
Boiiiiiiiiiiiii!
MLS is going to blow up in a few years… In a good way!
Welcome to Bayern Münich my friend?
Welcome to FC Bayern Munich! ?⚪️?
I like it ?
He wont play any games. Will get loaned out. Mark my words.
