Alphonso Davies: Whitecaps to FC Bayern Record Breaking Transfer | MLS highlights



In the biggest transfer in MLS history, Vancouver Whitecaps FC have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich that will see Homegrown winger Alphonso Davies move to the German giants at the end of the 2018 season. The move involves a fixed transfer fee and additional compensation that could total more than $22 million US, the most ever received by an MLS club in the league’s 23-year history.

  1. Bundesliga is my favorite league to watch…i want to say the right thing that if mls wants to continue progress they should keep these young players and build stars that stay but honestly it will probably never happen so nvm.

  3. that is awesome! it was great to see him in the Gold Cup up until he got hurt which was sad, felt like Canada had a small chance for the trophy. It was dumb for WC to have him play defense this season when his skill was surely needed in the front line. Best of luck Alphonso, proud to be Canadian

  4. Best case scenario for him is training with first team, playing with second team. Then next season getting some minutes with their first team and then go out on loan to first or second Bundesliga
