  13. Think it’s long overdue for the Timbers to give Savarese the boot! And it should be with both feet! He had a iffy resume coming to the Timbers to begin with. If you think it’s a accomplishment to win two NASL (defunct after just 6 seasons) championships deserving of a HC job in the MLS (with much more established and proven winner names out there) then you also probably count the Timbers “MLS is Back” so called champions on the same tier as winning a actual MLS championship. And if you count all that as a reason to keep Savarese then let’s do it and see how long it will be until that stadium starts losing its amazing fans. There’s just countless better options out there than this joker. I never liked the hire in the first place.

  27. Congratulations to Austin FC, you're a great addition to the league and you deserve the win against former league Champions the Portland Timbers. 
    As a Timbers fan since 1975 the one lingering thought I have about the team I've followed through countless ups and downs is that there is a malaise that's set in to the team. They've been through so much adversity and along with many teams, experienced too many injuries. It pains me to say this, but there seems to be more, a morale problem, that the players no longer have faith in the team or the person leading it, coach Savaresse. I'd love to be proven wrong but so far things are only getting worse.

    (Actually sad, because I would love to see Sounders #1 and Timbers #2. It just makes beating them that much more fun when they are good!)
